Mike Silkworth, Restaurant Management Analyst
Mike Silkworth studied Secondary Education with a minor in History at Kutztown University. He has close to 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry. With 4 different industry standard restaurant types; fast food corporations and franchises, casual and fine dining restaurants privately owned and world leading corporate chains.
In his corporate career he went from Top 20 Training Coordinator in his company within 5 years and transitioned to Kitchen Manager then Operations Manager the following year. His first year as an Operations Manager he won awards for 100% heath inspection, lowest turnover, most improved turnover %, and top 3 in the company in food costs. He has a passion and dedication for enhancing the skills and potential of individuals through training and growth opportunities. Mike possesses expertise in food safety, quality, and speed of service.
In his free time he enjoys spending quality time with his daughter and watching movies.
Samuel Sablich, Restaurant Management Analyst
Samuel Sablich studied Sociology at Kutztown University. Sam has over 14 years of experience in the restaurant industry. The supermajority of that time was spent atop corporate chains. With over a decade in restaurant management, he held both Kitchen Manager and Executive Chef positions.
Sam is competitively skilled and has extensive expertise in proficiency development, optimizing restaurant operations for efficiency, implementing industry standards, and creating systems to enhance daily operations. He has a passion for improving processes and achieving excellence in restaurant management.
In his free time he enjoys cooking, baking, using AI, riding his electric bikes, and watching movies.
Alexis Bowman, Analyst, Intern
Alexis Bowman is currently a junior at East Stroudsburg University studying Psychology with a concentration in research. Alexis has a background and is proficient in research, statistics, and data analysis. During her time at ESU she has had the privilege of being a member of Psi Chi, a learning assistant, and been a part of both qualitative and quantitative experimental research. Alexis plans to graduate in the spring 2025 semester. After graduating she plans to take a year between obtaining her undergraduate degree and attending grad school. She has the hope that one day she will use her research to make a significant impact on the lives of those in underserved communities.
On her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, listening to music, and spending time with those closest to her.
